Since 2007, the New York Theatre Organ Society has broken new ground on two fronts in a revolutionary education program:

 

1. Headed by John Baratta and

John Vanderlee, NYTOS has brought its traveling Allen GW319EX organ to many schools and public venues. Purchased and modified for the sole purpose of “on the road” demonstrations and concerts, we can now bring Theatre Organ to the People!

 

2. Several generous grants plus sweat equity allowed NYTOS to complete a world class installation of an Allen LL324 Theatre Organ at Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, NY.  Funded by NYTOS, the organ now leads an active life in hosting artists and serving as an educational vehicle for students and community members.
